    Description

Please don't pay the invoice eBay will send you immediately after the auction ends.  It's only an estimate, and it's usually wrong.  I'll send my invoice ASAP, and it will begin with a greeting and a Thanks for your bid....
This auction is for a set of ten (10) Swift Peanut Butter vintage Wizard of Oz Glasses.  Each glass is in excellent, unused condition---I can find no apologies whatsoever.  There's no loss to color or the painted design that encircles each glass. Included in the set are two each: Dorothy (pink), Cowardly Lion (yellow) and Toto (blue).  Also included are one of each:  The Wizard (black), The Woodman (green), the Wizard (red) and the Winkies (white). The Winkies are original citizens of Oz, and are rather hard to find.  Each glass measures 5" tall, and they all have a Baum copyright mark.  Some have a S & Co. mark also.  The bottom edges of each glass are ribbed.  I believe this set dates to the 1950s, and they came filled with peanut butter---not unlike the Welch's jelly glasses.  This is an awesome set, not so readily available and just this side of hard to find...please make sure you check all photos and read my entire description before bidding, but you'll find no disappointments with this set!  Good luck and thanks for looking!
Please take a minute to read how I run my auctions...
I ask that you DO NOT pay
the invoice you receive nanoseconds after the auction ends.  It's an automated request from eBay.  It
    DOES NOT
include insurance, delivery confirmation or the shipping discount that applies when labels are printed on-line.  If you want to pay exact shipping costs, please wait for my invoice, which is what the USPS charges me and includes all of the above.  I'll send it ASAP after an auction ends.  FREE local pick-up is always available in my auctions.
I sell mostly antique to vintage collectibles, so bidders should keep in mind that an item might have some age imperfections. I describe my items as accurately as possible, but I’m only human, and if I miss something major, please let me know before you post negative feedback.
Please remember that your bid is a binding contract to purchase.  It is your responsibility as a bidder to thoroughly read the auction listing and look at the photos---please DON'T rely only on an item's category or title for a complete description.  I do not refund for bidder's remorse.
Shipping is through the USPS and is for exact shipping costs.  I will always combine shipping costs whenever possible.
    WAIT FOR YOUR INVOICE
, which will include insurance and delivery confirmation.  If you pay before you've been invoiced, I CANNOT add insurance to your purchase unless you request me to do so.
PLEASE NOTE:  THE INSURANCE I PURCHASE FOR YOU INSURES YOUR ITEM ONLY TO THE ADDRESS ON YOUR EBAY INFORMATION.  IF YOU RE-SHIP THIS ITEM THROUGH A SECOND SHIPPING COMPANY, MY INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER ANY DAMAGE OR LOSS and I am not responsible for any loss or damage.
    Even though I have a
    5 business day
window for shipping, that's the worst case scenario. I always ship sooner, and if I can't ship within 5 days, I'll let you know.
My auctions will indicate if an item is up for international bids, but I will not ship any item international if it’s over 3 pounds without first hearing from the bidder to make sure they're willing to pay the USPS's high shipping costs.
Please be sure to leave feedback after you receive your item---it lets me know things went off without a hitch, but
IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ANY PART OF OUR TRANSACTION, PLEASE EMAIL ME SO IT CAN BE RESOLVED BEFORE YOU LEAVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK
