I used this product to fill holes left by carpet strips. The holes were about the size of a quarter and about 1/4 inch deep and we wanted a painted finish. First of all, the label says Does not shrink. That is totally false. It shrinks even when applied very thin. We reapplied as many as three times before the divots were flush. It also says no need to sand. Again totally false. We used a belt sander and hand sanding to feather the edges. We applied the product as thin as possible and feathered the edges to where they looked perfect. When it dried, there was course texture every time. We commented many times over the three day project, "where does the grit come from". Yes you have to sand. We had no problem with drying. It dried fast and the feathered areas could be worked on in hour of two. The project turned out just fine. It took much longer than expected because of shrinkage and the sanded that was required. I only gave it three stars because of the false claims on the can.

DIY guy for approx 30yrs & was very impressed by this product. Sets up like the other mortar in the bricks and blended perfect with the other mortar. Was perfect for brick mortar "fix" on some sizable cracks going down brick mortar joints.

This product dries and cracks under the intense heat in South Florida. It's just a good filler for hairline cracks, I have used this to fill 1/32" hairline cracks and after 24hrs coated with lacno 10yr acrylic elastromeric and it still cracks the following year. Always have to pressure clean to remove the mold and grime this stuff accumulates on the roof and in the cracks. It's good stuff, but look forward to yearly maintanence.
