This is a 2 map set which shows where everyone lived in  Matawan, Cliffwood & Freneau, Aberdeen Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey in 1873. These maps were recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frames or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of  Matawan, Cliffwood & Freneau. The first map is Matawan and the second map shows a larger area which includes Matawan, Freneau (was Mt Pleasant), Cliffwood (was Matavan) and Cliffwood Beach. Please keep in mind that many of the names shown are very small on these maps.
ome of the surnames which are clearly printed are Walling, Cottrell, Roberts, Fagan, Wilson, Crawford, Carney, White, Van Pelt, Van Brakle, Pierce, Power and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the maps are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
