This is a 2 map set which shows where everyone lived in the Town of Upper Alloways Creek, Salem County, New Jersey in 1876. Reproduced on fine natural color parchment, these maps are 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of the township along with the many towns or villages known as Alloway, Pecks Corner, Friesburg, Oakland, Welchville, Penton, Aldine, Paradise Lakes, Cobbs Mill and Cohansey. The first map shows the entire township of Upper Alloways Creek. The second map contains inset maps of the towns of Alloway and Clayton. Truly a great matching set.
Some of the surnames shown are Smith, Baker, Fries, Remster, String, Wright, Gibson, Diament, Kirby, Harwood, Ray and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the maps are schools, churches, streets and rivers/streams. Due to the limited size of my scanner bed, portions of the maps may not be shown.
