This is a map which shows where everyone lived in the Town of Babylon, Suffolk County, New York from 1873 which was reproduced on fine natural color parchment.  It's 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.

Contained on the map are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of Babylon.
The names in the more populated section are a little hard to read due to the density of that section and many of the designated numbered lots are yet to be inhabited as of 1873.
Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Jacobs, Pearsall, Smith, Southard, Litchfield, Dodd, Willson, Bulger, Oakley, Soper, Foster, and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the map are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
