This is a 4 map set which shows where everyone lived in the Townships of Ballston and Charlton, Saratoga County, New York from 1866. Recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment, these maps are 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the inhabitants of Ballston & Charlton. The first map shows the entire Township of Ballston which shows the towns of Ballston Spa, Ballston Centre, Burnt Hills, Ballston Lake (South Ballston) and East Line. The second map is a detailed village map of Ballston Spa with named streets and contains a business directory. The third map shows Charlton Township with West Charlton, Charlton, Holbrook Corners, West Corners & Tucker Heights. The fourth map contains insets of Charlton, Grangerville, Victory & Rexford Flats. It's hard to make out the specifics from my poor picture, however it is indeed crystal clear on the actual maps!
Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Jennings, Beach, Chapman, Thompson, Fuller, Harris, Porter, Smith, Babcock, Southard, Taylor, Miller and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the maps are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
