    Description

This is a two map set which shows where everyone lived in the Town of Bristol, Hartford County, Connecticut in 1869. Recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment they're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum q
    uality mat.
The pictures provided only show portions of the actual maps!

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of Bristol, Forestville and other areas known as South Village, North Village and Polkville. Due to the limited size of my scanner bed portions of the maps may not be shown. The pictures provided show different sections of the 2 maps. The first map shows the entire town of Bristol and the second shows the village or centralized business area of Bristol. There are also  business directories for Bristol and Forestville.
Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Bailey, Peck, Stevens, Thompson, Taylor, Richards, Brewster, Waters, Norton, Gridley, Smith, Hawley and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the maps are schools,  streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
This fine piece of history would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors! Multiple purchases can be combined for one shipping charge!
