This is a group of  2 map sets for the towns of Croton-on-Hudson, Crugers & Chimney Corners, NY from 1911. (plates 31-32) Recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment they are  11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners and landowners of the towns of
Croton-on-Hudson, Crugers & Chimney Corners
. To show greater detail each map set is split into 2 maps which form a left and right section. Due to the size of my scanner bed only a portion of each map is shown.
The first map set (1st 2 pics) show the towns of Croton-on-Hudson and Harmon.
The second map set (3rd & 4th pics) shows a larger area from Buchanan South to Harmon which includes the towns or villages of Verplanck, Montrose, Crugers, Chimney Corners, Oscawana, Croton on Hudson, Harmon, Mount Airy, Woodybrook, Furnace Woods, Pleasantside and Blue Mountain Reservation. For better clarity each of the map sets are split in half East view and West view.
Two views on two maps-- Nice set!! Some of the estate or land owners which are clearly printed are Frost, Haines, Lounsbury, Sheperd, Dickerson, Osborn, Harris, Farrington, Clark, Russell, Ferris and so many more that it's impossible to list!  It also shows next to the owners name the amount of acres. Also indicated on the maps are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams. Please note that due to the vast area covered, the more heavily populated towns won't show homeowners names-- just not enough space to list them.
These two map sets would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
