Description

This is a two map set which shows where everyone lived in the Town of East Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut in 1869. Recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment, they're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.
The pictures provided show only portions of the actual maps, please feel free to contact me with any questions!
Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of East Hartford. The first map shows the entire town of East Hartford which includes the areas known as Burnside ( now called Burnham), Willow Brook and the other districts. The second shows the village area of East Hartford and has an inset map of East Windsor Hill and South Windsor. Due to the limited size of my scanner bed, portions of the maps may not be shown.
Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Olmstead, Smith, Conley, Richardson, Root, Roberts, Bull, Stanley, Goodwin, Kennedy, Hubbard, Jones, Barber and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the maps are schools,  streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
This two map matching set would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors!  Multiple purchases can be combined for one shipping charge! Please check out my other listings for many other fine old town maps!
These maps make wonderful gifts and really are quite the conversation piece.
