This is a map which shows where many of the homeowners resided in East Providence, Rhode Island in 1870. This map was recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. It's 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.

Contained on the map are finely detailed locations of the homesteads with the owners names. Due to large areas covered by the map, many of the names of the homeowners are quite small. Contained on the map is the entire township of East Providence along with 2 inset maps of the towns or villages of Omega and East Providence. There is also a business directory for East Providence.  Some of the surnames which are printed are Rogers, West, Greene, Miller, Pierce, Hunt, Potter and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the map are schools, businesses, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
