Description

This is a 2 map set which shows where everyone lived in the town of  Farmington, Connecticut in 1869. Recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment, they're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.
The pictures provided show only portions of the actual maps, please feel free to contact me with any questions!
Contained on the first map is finely detailed locations of the homeowners of Farmington
which includes parts of Unionville and Plainville. The second  map contains an inset map of Unionville with other area insets of Marion, Southington & Plantsville.
Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Whitman, Rice, Morton, Ward, Porter, Dickinson, Cowles, Williams, Gay, Bidwell, Hadsell, Carrington and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the map are schools,  streets, railroads and rivers/streams. Due to the limited size of my scanner bed, portions of the maps may not be shown.
This  map would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors! Multiple purchases can be combined for one shipping charge! Please check out my other listings for many other fine old town maps!
