This is a  map of the town of  Granby, CT from 1869.  This map was recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. It's 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame.

Contained on the map are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of the towns or villages of Granby, North Granby, West Granby, Salmon Brook, Pegville and East Granby (Mechanicsville).  Also shown on this map are 2 inset maps of the business centers of Granby Street or Salmon Brook and West Granby which also contain the homeowners names as well as some businesses. This map also shows Manitook Lake as it appeared back then.
Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Beeman, Messenger, Taylor, Barlow, Hayes, Rogers, Smith, Dibble, Case and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the map are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers & streams.
