Hadlyme CT 1874 Maps with Business and Homeowners Names Shown

This is a  2 map set of the village of Hadlyme, CT from 1874. This map set was recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of the town of Hadlyme. The first map (which is partially shown)  is that of the Village of Hadlyme. This map shows the homesteads and farms with the owners named.  The second map is that of the township of East Haddam which includes the towns or villages of Goodspeeds Landing, East Haddam Landing, Moodus and Hadlyme which shows the many homeowners and business owners.
Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Gates, Warner, Phelps, Comstock, Holmes, Hungerford  and so
many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the map are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
This map set would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything! Find your old house and who lived in it back in 1874. What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors!
