This a map of the town of Hampton, CT from 1868.  Recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment, it's 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame.

Contained on the map are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of the town of Hampton. Also shown on this map are the villages of Clarks Corner and Hampton. Some of the points of interest or features of this map are Merrick Brook, Boston- Hartford & Erie Railroad and Hampton Depot. Also contained on this map is an inset map of the village of Hampton Center with a business directory.
Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Button, Mosely, Hughes, Cary, Fuller, Searls, Pearl, Whitaker, Coleman and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the map are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.  It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift
