This is a 2 map set which shows where everyone lived in the towns of Harmony and Panama, Chautauqua County, New York in 1881. This map was reproduced on fine natural color parchment. It's 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of the towns and or villages of Harmony, Panama, Ashville, Watts Flat, Blockville, Longview, Quigley Park, Hadley Bay, North East Junction, Niets Crest, Connelly Park, Victoria and Elm Tree. The more heavily populated areas don't show surnames however the homesteads throughout the town are shown.
It's hard to make out the specifics from my poor picture, however it is indeed crystal clear on the actual maps! Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Cook, Purdee, Smith, Mills, Wells, Hawkins, Williams, Loomis, Gardner, Green, Cheney, Pike, Stow, Hale, White and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the map are schools, businesses, railroads and rivers/streams.
It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
