This is a 3 map set which shows where everyone lived in  Howell Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey in 1873. These maps were recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of   Howell township which includes the villages of Farmingdale, Squankum, Freewood Acres, Candlewood, Southard, Land of Pines, West farms, Oak Glen, Jerseyville, Ardens (was Fairfield), Adelphia (was Turkey) and Fort Plains.
The first map is that of Howell Township which includes the towns or areas known as Farmingdale, Jerseyville. The second map contains inset maps of the towns of Farmingdale, Squankum and Jerseyville. There is also a business directory for Howell. The third map (not shown) contains three more inset maps of the towns of Turkey, Fairfield and West Farms. It appears that the towns named have changed and are Adelphia and Freewood Acres.
Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Goodnough, Barden, Stell, Lewis, Borden, Palmer, Fielder, Cottrell, Wainwright, Nesbit, Johnson and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the maps are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
This matching set would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything! What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors!
