This is a 3 map set which shows where many of the homeowners resided in the Towns of Huntington and North Babylon,  New York in 1873. These fine maps were recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of Huntington & North Babylon. Due to large areas covered by the maps, many of the names of the homeowners are quite small. The first map shows the entire Township of Huntington which also contains 3 small inset maps of the villages of North Babylon, Centerport and Vernon Valley.
The second map shows a section of Huntington as well as a section of Babylon and a small inset map of Commack. The third map shows an exploded view of Huntington from Melville to Deer Park. Truly a great matching set. Some of the surnames which are printed are Squires, Smith, Fields, Bartlett, Gardner, Mayhew, Burr, Whitman, Brown, Brush, Hall, Hart, Williams, Lewis and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the maps are schools, named streets, railroads, churches, cemeteries and rivers/streams.
It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
