Description

This is a 2 map set which shows where some of the homeowners lived in the Village of Irvington, Westchester County, New York in 1911. These maps were reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.
The pictures provided show only a portion of each actual map. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homes, lots and estates for this time period. The maps are actually one map scene yet is split into two to show in better detail both the Northern and Southern sections of Irvington. Please note that although many surnames are present, many of the more heavily populated sections and the undeveloped areas won't show them.  All of the streets at that time are also named. Please check out the pictures for greater detail.
Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Schuyler, Hewitt, Reid, Walker, Sand, Matthiessen, Seligman, Eddison, Wendel, Barber, Gregory, Irving, Rutter, Reilly and  many more! Also indicated on the map are schools, named streets, cemeteries, some businesses, railroads and rivers/streams.
It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything! What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors! Multiple purchases can be combined for one shipping charge!
