Description

This is a map which shows where everyone lived in the town of Lansingburgh, Rensselaer County, New York in 1876.This map was recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment It's 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.
The pictures provided show only portions of the actual maps, please feel free to contact me with any questions!
Contained on the map are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of Lansingburgh, Speigletown, Pleasantdale and Eagle Bridge. There are also 2 smaller inset maps of the areas of Speigletown Center and Eagle Bridge of the Hoosick Township. This map covers quite an extensive area and many of the more densely populated sections don't show surnames and many of the surnames shown are indeed small.  Due to the limited size of my scanner bed, only portions of the maps may be shown.  Please check out the pictures provided for greater detail.
Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Taylor, Townsend, Way, Morrison, Pine, King, Bowman, Mott, Huffman, Weatherwax, Moseley, Sheldon, Rice and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the map are schools, streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors!  Multiple purchases can be combined for one shipping charge!  Please check out my other listings for many other fine old town maps!
