This is a  3 map set of the town of Litchfield, CT from 1874. This map set was recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame. Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of the town of Litchfield.

The first map (which is partially shown)  shows the entire town of Litchfield which includes the villages of Northfield, Campville, East Litchfield, Milton, Bantam, Dempsey Landing, Grapeville and Sandy Beach.
The second map shows the village of Litchfield which shows the many homeowners and business owners.  Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Gates, Seymour, Stone, Prescott, Parmelee, Hollister, Crandall, Crane, Bissett and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the map are schools, businesses, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.  Some of the many items of interest contained on this map are Little Pond, Cranberry Pond, Bantam River, Mt. Tom Pond, Northfield Pond, Naugatuck Rail Road and Bantam Lake.
The third map shows the inset maps of Bantam Falls and Northfield along with a depth scale of Bantam Lake.
This map set would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
