This is a 3 map set of the towns of Middle Haddam & Cobalt Landing, CT from 1874. This map set was recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of the towns of Middle Haddam & Cobalt Landing.  The first map is that of the town of Middle Haddam. This map shows the homesteads and farms with the owners named.  The second map is that of the township of what was called Chatham which includes the towns or villages of East Hampton, Middle Haddam, Lake Pocotopaug and Cobalt which shows the many homeowners and business owners. The third map is of Cobalt Landing.
Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Niles, Hill, Day, Markham, Barton, Clark, Strong, Taylor, Bailey and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the map are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.  This map set would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
