This is a 2 map set which shows where many of the homeowners resided in the Town of Milford, New Haven County, Connecticut in 1868. These fine maps were recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of Milford. Due to large areas covered by the maps, many of the names of the homeowners are quite small. Due to the limited size of my scanner bed, portions of the maps may not be shown.
The first map shows the entire town of Milford.
The second map shows the village or center of Milford.
Truly a great matching set. It's hard to make out the specifics from my poor picture however it's clearly detailed on the actual maps! Some of the surnames which are printed are Fellows, Durand, Smith, Buckingham, Merwin, Welsh, Downs, Wilcox, Beardsley, Nolan, Miles, Pond, Baldwin and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the maps are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
