This is a 2 map which shows where many of the land owners lived in the Township of Monroe, Middlesex County, New Jersey in 1876. This fine map set was reproduced on fine natural color parchment. It's  11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the inhabitants of Monroe which includes the towns and villages of Hoffman, Cranbury Station, Jamesburg, Tracy, Gravehill, Lakeview Terrace, Rossmoor, Clearbrook Park, Prospect plains, Helmetta, Matchaponix, Applegarth, Half Acre, Middlesex Downs and Twin Rivers. There is also an inset map of Jamesburg.
Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Hoffman, Smith, Day, Tracy, Rogers, Edwards, Applegate, Davis, Riggs, Butcher, Chessney and so many more that it's impossible to list. Along with this map is an inset map of the Township of North Brunswick. Please note that some of the more heavily populated areas won't show surnames however the larger homesteads, farms and estates do show names. Also indicated on the map are town and county boundaries, schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
