Description

This is a 3 map set which shows where everyone lived in the Township of Hanover, Morris County, New Jersey in 1868. This map set was reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They are 11"x17" each and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.
Due to the limited size of my scanner bed only portions of the maps may be shown.
The pictures provided show only portions of the actual maps, please feel free to contact me with any questions!
Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the Homeowners of Hanover and also shows the towns and or villages of Boonton, Lake Hiawatha, Parsippany, Littleton, Morris Plains, Whippany, Hanover, Troy and more. There is also a business directory for Whippany. The first map shows the entire township of Hanover. The second map contains 2 small inset maps of Hanover and Troy. The third map contains 2 inset maps of Mendham and Whippany. Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Bates, Johnson, Cook, Ellis, Dolan, Canfield, Burnett, Haring, Rowe, Wilson, Howell and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the map are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors!
