MOTOROLA XTS5000 MODEL III ASTRO XTS 5000 DIGITAL PORTABLE RADIO PROGRAMMABLE Radio is in good working condition. It appears these radios have not been used for 17 year and have just been sitting in the boxes I got them in. They are in the box in individual plastic molded shells, see pictures. They still have the little plastic sheet protecting the screen. All radios packaged separate from batteries so no concern about any leakage into radios. These radios it seems from what little I know about them is the need to be programmed which requires an adapter not included. The screen comes on, does a quick self test, then shows Z1 CHAN 1, with function keys for MUTE, CLCK, ZONE. All buttons and dials work as new, firm but smooth. Radios will not have batteries attached during shipment. Batteries may need to be replaced some time soon.
