This is a  3 map set of the Towns of Norwich, Taftville, Occum, Yantic & Greenville, CT from 1868. This map set was recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame.
The pictures provided only show portions of the actual maps!

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of the towns or villages of Greenville, Norwich, Taftville, Occum, Fitchville, Yantic  & Preston. Due to the limited size of my scanner bed, portions of the maps may not be shown. The first map (first 2 pictures) shows the town of Norwich. that of the Eastern half of the town of Greenville which also contains an inset map of the towns of Bean Hill and Norwichtown. This map shows the many planned homesteads and businesses with the many owners named.  The second and third maps (3rd & 4th pictures)  show the Western and Eastern halves of Greenville and contains 2 inset maps of Preston and Norwich Town.
These maps as well, show the homeowners names.  Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Cottrell, Spencer, Kinney, Williams, Tubbs, Cobb, Douglass, Jennings, Griswold and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the map are schools, named
streets, railroads and the Thames and Shetucket Rivers.
This map set would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything! Find your old house and who lived in it back in 1868. What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors!
