Old Bridge Madison Park Runyon Parlin NJ 1876 Maps with Homeowners Names Shown

This is a 2 map set which shows where many of the homeowners resided in the Township of Madison (now called Old Bridge), Middlesex County, New Jersey in 1876. These fine maps were recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat. Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of Old Bridge.

The first map shows the entire Township of Old Bridge and also contains a small inset map of Mill Town. Some of the towns, villages or other areas which are shown are Runyon, Parlin, Cheesequake State Park, Madison Park, Cliffwood, Sayreville, Browntown and Moerle Corner. Due to the large area covered on this map, some of the names are quite small. Please check out the pictures provided for better detail.
The second map shows the center of Old Bridge and also contains inset maps of South Amboy and Dayton.
Truly a great matching set. It's hard to make out the specifics from my poor pictures however it's clearly detailed on the actual maps! Some of the surnames which are printed are Palmer, Higgins, Cottrell, Zeigler, Whiteman, Brown, Reynolds, Dayton, Gordon, Henderson, Briggs and so many more that it's impossible to list! Please note that  much of the very densely populated areas don't show surnames however the homesteads and estates are shown. Also indicated on the maps are town and or county boundaries, schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams. Please check out the pictures provided for better detail.
This set would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything! What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors!
