This is a 2 map set which shows where some of the homeowners resided in the City of Perth Amboy, Middlesex County, New Jersey in 1876. These fine maps were recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.
Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners or future owner lots of the City of Perth Amboy. Both of these maps show a different view of the city. Each map features named streets and numbered lots. Some of the larger lots or estates show the homeowners names as well.

Truly a great matching set.  Some of the surnames which are printed are Appleby, Fox, Bruen, Bell, Kearny, Connolly, Barnes, Wright, Smith, Peck and others! Please note that  much of the very densely populated areas don't show surnames and that much of the area is planned development, however the homesteads and estates are shown. Also indicated on the maps are town and or county boundaries, schools, churches, cemeteries, businesses, railroads and rivers/streams.
This set would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
