This is a  2 map set of the town of Plainfield, CT from 1869. This map set was recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of the town of Plainfield.  The first map (first 2 pictures)  shows the entire town of Plainfield.  The second map (3rd & 4th pictures) contains inset maps of Sterling, Sterling Center, Wauregan and Plainfield Center which also shows the many homeowners and business owners.  Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Potter, Young, Dean, Walker, Fuller, Kenedy, Avery, Tenant, Gardner and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the map are schools, businesses, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
