Pr. Royal Crown Derby Animal Paperweights w/Boxes, Pamphlets~Sitting Cat & Pig

PLEASE don't pay the invoice you'll get immediately from ebay.  It's only an estimate, and can be incorrect because it does not account for the final bid amount nor the item's destination.  Plainly put,  I can't ship a 0.00, five pound package from NJ to the West coast for .00, even though that's what might be on the eBay invoice.  I'll send an invoice as soon as possible, and it will begin with a Hello!  I hope you'll wait to hear from me...your patience is much appreciated!
This auction is for a pair of Royal Crown Derby figurine paperweights.  Sitting Cat and Pig are in excellent condition, and go to their new home in their original boxes with their Royal Crown Derby pamphlet.  Both are done with Imari colors---reddish orange, blue and gold trim/embellishments set on a soft white background.  The cat has the perfect affect--stares at you with his tail curled round his feet.  The pig is angry at something---check out that face!  Both measure 5 1/4"---one in height, one in length---and the Roman numeral dating system on the bottom dates these to 1985.  You'll also see a hole in the bottom, next to the RCD porcelain button....the pamphlets suggest you fill each piece with sand/salt/etc. in order to give it the weight to be used as a paperweight, but other pieces I've seen had a removable gold plug you'd use to close up the bottom.  Neither of these pieces has that plug, but honestly, I wonder if they ever actually had them, as there's no way it would fit along side the porcelain button....my photos will give you a better idea of what I mean.  The boxes are in great condition, and each is labeled on the bottom.  Boxes are 7" high.  Please make sure to check all photos and read my entire description before bidding...and yes, the auction is for the pair.  Good luck and thanks for looking!

Shipping is through the USPS and is for exact shipping costs.  I will always combine shipping costs whenever possible.

My auctions will indicate if an item is up for international bids, but I will not ship any item international if it’s over 3 pounds without first hearing from the bidder to make sure they're willing to pay the USPS's high shipping costs.
