    Description

This is a 2 map set of the Town of Provincetown, MA from 1880. Recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment, these maps are 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame.
The pictures provided only show portions of the actual maps!

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of the Town of Provincetown with other adjoining areas on the Cape.  Due to the heavily populated areas, many of the names are quite small and some can be best viewed with a magnifying glass. Along with the homeowners shown are the plotted sites for future development.
Some of the surnames shown are Atkins, Birch, Lewis, Cook, Williams, Smith, Lockwood, Powers, Small, Rich and others.  Also indicated on the map are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors!
