This is a 3 map set which shows where many of the homeowners resided in the Township of Schaghticoke, Rensselaer County, New York in 1876. These fine maps were recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment and are 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of Schaghticoke Township which includes the towns and villages of Schaghticoke, Harts Falls, Johnsonville, Mechanicville, Valley Falls, Hemstreet Park and Reynolds
. Due to large areas covered by the maps, many of the names of the homeowners are quite small. Truly a great matching set. It's hard to make out the specifics from my poor picture however it's clearly detailed on the actual maps!
Some of the surnames which are printed are Harwood, Haynes, Yates, Stark, Crapo, Ball, Hawley, Lape, Finch, Reed, Johnson, Smith, Baker, Stickles, Miller and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the maps are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers and streams.
It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
