This is a 2 map set of the Township of Shamong, NJ from 1876.  Recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment they're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of the Township of Shamong which includes the many villages. Due to the limited size of my scanner bed, only portions of the maps are shown.
The first map shows the entire township of Shamong which also contains the towns or villages of Atsion, Tabernacle, Indian Mills, Oriental, Flyat, Hampton Furnace and Hampton Gate. It also contains 2 smaller inset maps of New Gretna and Batsto.
The second map contains 4 inset maps of the villages of Indian Mills, Atsion, Plattsburgh and Edgewater
-- Nice set!! Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Stoddard, Carr Platt, Wells, Thompson, Brown, Armstrong, Munyun, Taylor, Reeves and so many more that it's impossible to list! The names shown are indeed very small yet can be read. Also indicated on the map are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
