s is a  2 map set of the town of Sharon, CT from 1874. This map set was recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of the town of Sharon along with the villages of Ellsworth, Cornwall Bridge, Mitcheltown, Sharon Valley and Union.  Due to the limited size of my scanner bed, portions of the maps may not be shown.  Please check out the pictures provided for greater detail!
The first map (which is partially shown)  is that of the entire township of Sharon which includes the villages of Sharon, Sharon Valley, Ellsworth, Amenia, NY, Union, South Ellsworth, West Woods, Mitcheltown, Cornwall Bridge and West Cornwall.
The second map contains inset maps of the business centers of Sharon, Sharon Valley, Amenia Union and Cornwall Bridge which also shows the many homeowners and business owners.  Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Sterling, Platt, Reed, Kelsey, Byron, St John, Smith, Beebe, Bissell, Dibble and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the map are schools, businesses, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
