This is a 4 map set which shows where some of the homeowners lived in the towns of Tarrytown  and Sleepy Hollow, Westchester County, New York in 1911. (plates 12,20,21 &22) These maps were reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat. Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homes, lots and estates for this time period.

The maps are actually 4 map sets which is split into two to show in better detail both the Northern and Southern sections of each map. Check out the 8 pictures for greater detail. These pictures are scans and don't show the maps in their entirety. Please note that although many surnames are present, many of the more heavily populated sections and the undeveloped areas won't show them.  Some of the streets at that time are also named.  Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Rockefeller, Butler, Winterburn, Grissler, Milton, Lowery, Hart, Wariner, Church, Douglas, Andrews, Smith and  many more!
Some of the area features shown on these maps are Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Philipse Manor, Pocantico River, Rockefeller State park, Pocantico Hills, Glenville, Castle Heights, Tarrytown Reservoir, Edgemont, Talleyrand Crescent, Tappan Landing & Ridgecroft Estates. Note that this is the area where these features are now located and weren't necessarily in existence in 1911. Also indicated on the map are schools, named streets, numbered lots, cemeteries, some businesses, railroads and rivers/streams.
