This is a map which shows where many of the inhabitants lived in the town of Thompson, Connecticut in 1869. Recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment, this map is 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat. Contained on the map are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of Thompson as well as the villages of North Grosvenor Dale, Grosvenor Dale, West Thompson, Wilsonville, Quinebaug, East Thompson & Quaddick. Also shown on this map are the features known as West Thompson Lake, Quinebaug River, Little Pond and Quaddick Reservoir.

Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Wilbur, Walker, Winter, Cutler, Holmes, Jacobs, Bixby, Mills, Tucker, Huntington and so many more that it's impossible to list!
