This is a 3 map set which shows where many of the homeowners resided in the Township of Union, Union County, New Jersey in 1882. These fine maps were recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of Union. The first map (1st & 2nd pics) show the Township of Union which includes the towns or villages of Union, Hillside, North Roselle, Kenilworth, Elizabeth River, Livingston, Battle Hill and Connecticut Farms. The second map (3rd pic) shows a section of the town of Roselle with lots and inhabitants. The third map (4th & 5th pics) shows Union County with the many townships as it appeared in 1882. Truly a great matching set. Some of the surnames which are printed Williams, Ross, Baker, Blake, Lum, Stiles, Potter, Kean, Budd, Sayre, Baker, Clark, Brown, Woods and many more. Please note that  much of the area is planned and made up of non-populated lots which don't show surnames. Also indicated on the maps are town and or county boundaries, schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
