Vintage Soviet Latvian Tournament Chess Set Folding Board Tal's Favorite

For your consideration is a vintage Soviet Latvian Tournament Chess Set with folding storage board. Its been said the Latvian sets were a favorite of former World Champion Mikhail Tal.  The 32 piece set is in very good condition  with minor finish wear. It looks like the pieces were hardly ever used,  if ever.  Pieces are NOT WEIGHTED, typical for the Soviet Latvian sets. Piece bottoms are covered with brown leatherette pads.  Kings measure  3 3/4" in height with a diameter base just under 1 1/2".   Pawns  are 1 5/8"  in height.  The folding storage wood board with 1 3/4" squares is in poor condition with some surface cracks, scratches and surface wear. One of the metal latches is missing.  See pictures.  More pictures upon request.  The set features awesome hand carved Knights.  The "white" pieces exhibit a gorgeous patina.
