This is a map which shows where many of the homeowners resided in the Villages of West Islip, North Babylon & Deer Park, Suffolk County, New York in 1888. This map was recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. It's  11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.

Contained on the map are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of West Islip,  North Babylon and Deer Park. Due to large areas covered by the map, many of the names of the homeowners are quite small. The map contains 3 inset maps of West Islip, North Babylon and Deer Park. Truly a great matching set. It's hard to make out the specifics from my poor picture however it's clearly detailed on the actual maps!
Some of the surnames which are printed are Thompson, Foote, True, Miller, Wagstaff, Hyde, Phelps, Johnson, Higbie, Crane and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the maps are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams. It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything! What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors!
