Contained on the 1st map are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of Weston. Also shown on this map are 2 smaller inset maps of Lyons Plain and Aspetuck (was Valley Forge). Due to limited size of my scanner bed, portions of the map may not be shown. The 2nd map shows the topography of Weston from 1893 along with some of the neighboring towns. Please check out the pictures provided for better detail. The names listed are quite small and can best be viewed with a mag glass.
Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Bennett, Brown, Treadwell, Hamilton, Andrews,
Nichols, Gould, Squires and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the map are schools, churches, Businesses, cemeteries, railroads and rivers/streams.
It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors! Multiple purchases can be combined for one shipping charge! Please check out my other listings for many other fine old town maps!
