This is a 2 map set which shows where many of the inhabitants lived in the town of Wilton, Fairfield County, Connecticut in 1867 and 1893. Recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment, This maps are 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.

Contained on the 1867 map are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of Wilton with Georgetown, Gilbert Corners, Cannondale and North Wilton. There is also a smaller inset map of Wilton Center and a business directory. The 2nd map shows the topography of Wilton from 1893 along with some of the neighboring towns.
Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Taylor, Pardee, James, Betts, Gilbert, Waterbury, Gorham, Sturgess, Keeler, Smith,Cannon and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the map are schools, churches, Businesses, cemeteries, railroads and rivers/streams.
