Description

This is a two map set which shows where everyone lived in the Town of Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut in 1869. These maps were recently reproduced on fine natural color antique style parchment paper. They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.
The pictures provided only show portions of the actual maps!
Please contact me with any questions!
Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of Windsor, Poquonock, Breakneck, Wilson, Hayden and other areas. There is also a small inset map of Poquonock Center and a business directory for Windsor. It's hard to make out the specifics from my poor picture, however it is indeed crystal clear on the actual maps!
Due to the limited size of my scanner bed, portions of the maps may not be shown. Please refer to the pictures supplied for better detail.
Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Buckland, Halsey, Drake, Loomis, Rowland, Bruce, Howard, Fenton, Capen, Brown, Phelps, Francis and so many more that it's impossible to list! Please note that although many of the names are small, they are quite readable. Also indicated on the maps are schools,  streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
This two map matching set  would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors!
Multiple purchases can be combined for one shipping charge! Please check out my other listings for many other fine old town maps.
