Description

This is a two map set which shows where everyone lived in the Town of Winsted, Litchfield County, Connecticut in 1874. These maps were recently reproduced on fine natural color antique style parchment paper. They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.
The pictures provided only show portions of the actual maps!
Please contact me with any questions!
Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of Winsted and West Winsted. Due to the limited size of my scanner bed, portions of the maps may not be shown. Please check out the attached pictures for greater detail.
Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Adams, Baldwin, Strong, Gilbert, Wetmore, Smith, Moore, Champion, Wynn, Camp, Potter, Watson and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the maps are schools,  streets, railroads and rivers/streams. Please note that many of the names are quite small yet legible.
This two map matching set would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything! What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors!
Multiple purchases can be combined for one shipping charge!  Please check out my other listings for many other fine old town maps!
