Woonsocket RI 1870 Maps with Homeowners Names Shown

This is a 2 map set which shows where many of the homeowners resided in Woonsocket, Rhode Island in 1870. These fine maps were recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're  11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homesteads with the owners name. Due to large areas covered by the maps, many of the names of the homeowners are quite small. The first map contains an inset map of the entire Township of Woonsocket which includes a substantial business directory. The second map shows the city  of Woonsocket as it appeared in 1870. Truly a great matching set!!
Some of the surnames which are printed are Cook Holmes, Pond, Sincomb, Fletcher, Keith, Allen, Taber, Smyth, Grimes and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the maps are schools, businesses, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
