This is a group of  2 map sets for the towns of Yorktown Heights, Amawalk and Shrub Oak, NY from 1911. (plates 35-36) Recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment they're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners and landowners of the towns of Kitchawan, Mt Kisco, Yorktown Heights, Shrub Oak, Lake Mohegan, Jefferson Valley, Amawalk, Granite Springs & Teatown
. To show greater detail each map set is split into 2 maps which form a left and right section. Due to the size of my scanner bed only a portion of each map is shown.
Due to the limited size of my scanner bed only portions of the maps may be shown. Please check out the pictures supplied for greater detail.
The first map set  is shown in the first 2 pictures. The second map set is shown in the 3rd & 4th pictures. Also shown on these maps are the Croton Reservoir, Amawalk Reservoir, Mohansic Lake, Osceola Lake and an Eastern section of Somers.
Two views on two maps-- Nice set!! Some of the estate or land owners which are clearly printed are Knapp, Miller, Carpenter, Strong, Fellman, Kirk, Fisher and so many more that it's impossible to list!  It also shows next to the owners name the amount of acres. Also indicated on the maps are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams. Please note that due to the vast area covered, the more heavily populated towns won't show homeowners names-- just not enough space to list them.
These two map sets would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
